ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The dead body of young Taha, who went missing from Islamabad's Margalla Hills Trail 5 on Saturday, has been found.
According to police sources, the body was traced by Forest and Wildlife Department officials who informed police. The lad was found dead in a ditch.
Police and Rescue teams retrieved the body and boy's mother reached there for identification. Student Taha went missing from Margalla Hills Trail 5 during hiking with friends.
A case of alleged kidnapping was registered at the Secretariat police station on the report of mother of missing boy and police started investigation. Police patrol teams launched the search with the help of drones cameras.
Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered patrolling by police on Margalla Hills tracks for safety and security of hikers. Some untoward incidents were reported in the area in the past.
A patrol team comprising 60 officials has been assigned security duties in and around the track. Six motorcycles and eight horses are at the disposal of the team.
