(Web Desk) - Zayn Malik made a long-awaited return to television, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the first time in eight years.
The ex-One Direction member captivated the audience with a soulful live rendition of "Alienated," the second track from his latest solo album, 'Room Under The Stairs'.
Accompanied by his band, Malik, known for hits like “Dusk Till Dawn,” delivered an impressive show at the Tonight Show Studio.
Fans, who call themselves the Zquad, filled the comments section of the YouTube video with praise.
One fan remarked, “Zayn is one of those rare musicians who sound even better live. Amazing.”
Another commented, “This live performance made me 10 times more emotional listening to this song.”
A third fan admired his vocal skills, stating, “The growth in Zayn’s music and his voice is unreal.
His live versions sound better than studio. He wrote, produced, and composed the songs himself—now this is what we call talent. So happy to see him like that and looking forward to everything he will be doing in the future.”
Earlier, in March, Malik made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, interrupting the host’s monologue to announce his fourth studio album without uttering a word.
