LAHORE (Dunya News) – Summer vacation for both private and public schools across Punjab will commence on May 25 instead of June 1, according to a notification issued by the Punjab School Education Department.
The decision comes in response to the surge in temperature and heatwave conditions in the province.
The notification states that schools will remain closed from May 25 to June 1. However, schools will be allowed to conduct examinations as scheduled, with necessary precautions in place to ensure the safety of students.
An earlier notification from the Punjab School Education Department had initially announced summer vacation starting from June 1.
