LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday issued the election schedule to elect the party president.
A meeting of PML-N’s election commission was held with chief election commissioner Rana Sanaullah in the chair.
Other members of election commission including Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Ishrat Ashraf, Jamal Shah Kakar and Khel Das Kohistani also attended the meeting.
As per the election schedule, the nomination papers would be issued from the PML-N’s secretariat in Model Town on May 27.

The nomination papers would be submitted on May 28 from 10 am to 12 pm and scrutiny would be completed from 1 pm to 2 pm on the same day.
The general council meeting to elect the party president would be held on May 28 at 4 pm.
The May 28 date was selected carefully as the day is celebrated as Youm-e-Takbeer to mark the historic nuclear tests conducted by Pakistan in 1998 when Nawaz Sharif was serving as prime minister in his second stint.
