ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry claims the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reinstated their victory notification in the general election.
Addressing the media outside the ECP office, the PML-N leader asserted that the ECP had issued the final results of three constituencies in Islamabad, which were previously made controversial due to allegations of rigging.
Tariq Fazal alleged that their political rivals propagated and made malicious claims of rigging against them in the poll results. He blamed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for making the victory notification of three National Assembly constituencies in Islamabad controversial.
He hit out at the PTI for making the Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspend the ECP's notification based on dishonesty and allegations.
He advised the PTI to refrain from creating propaganda, chaos, and controversies, citing evidence of the original and accurate results in the form of Form-45.
He also criticised the PTI for misleading the youth and attacking the state.
The ECP has reinstated the victory notification for three PML-N candidates - Anjum Aqeel from NA-46, Tariq Fazal from NA-47, and Raja Khurram Nawaz from NA-48.
