LAHORE (Web Desk) – Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United by three wickets in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 clash at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.
Gladiators' Mohammad Wasim and Abrar Ahmed produced stunning bowling spells restricting United to 138 runs.
Agha Salman was leading scorer from United as he made 33 runs while Colin Munro and Alex Hales made 20 and 21, respectively.
In reply, Gladiators achieved the target of 139 in the 19th over.
Earlier, Gladiators won the toss and elected to field first.
The 2019 champions, Quetta, have won both their matches in their effort to regain lost glory. They defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 15 runs after posting 206 for five while achieved a historic win against defending champions Lahore Qalandars.
However, they faltered against Multan Sultans who defeated them by five wickets who chased down the 145-run target in the last over.
