BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) - Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday visited Bahawalpur and inaugurated development projects worth over Rs1 billion.
He also announced funds for various projects of the Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
Reconstruction of three dilapidated wards and renovation of 12 wards of the hospital have been completed. Renovation of Out Patient Department’s (OPD) building also has been completed.
The chief minister laid the foundation stone of Bahawalpur Safe City Project in District Police Lines.
The chief minister distributed allotment letters to the residents of Cholistan at the office of the Bahawalpur commissioner.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the Punjab government was taking steps for the uplift of the people of Bahawalpur.
He issued directives to the authorities concerned to complete the projects within stipulated time and ensure use of quality material.
