ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has successfully conducted a mock training session of the Election Management System (EMS), a programme designed to compile results for the upcoming general elections.
In a press release issued on Saturday, the ECP stated that the training with the EMS produced beneficial and encouraging results.
Approximately 859 RO (returning officer) offices established at different locations across the country participated in the training session.
The complete training, covering the use of the EMS and result transmission, was carried out successfully, and the ROs worked closely with the presiding officers for result transmission and documentation.
According to the ECP, overall, the transmission of results by presiding officers remained satisfactory, although some presiding officers faced difficulties in connectivity at a few locations.
