ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched a crackdown on individuals involved in spreading fake news and propaganda against state institutions and the chief justice.
The FIA has initiated 115 inquiries and issued notices to 65 individuals accused of disseminating false information.

Notices have been sent to 47 figures from both mainstream and social media platforms. The FIA has summoned the suspects to appear on Jan 30 and 31 for further investigation.
The FIA is determined to protect the sanctity of state institutions and the CJP.

The state agency vows to closely monitor and take swift action against those found guilty of disseminating fake news and engaging in propaganda.
