FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Former interior minister and Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President Rana Sanaullah has said that differences on the allotment of party tickets are a normal thing.
Addressing a ceremony here on Sunday, he however vowed that the PML-N would score a big win on February 8.
The ex-minister said that the PML-N ended terrorism and load shedding and lambasted those who destroyed the country’s economy.
He claimed that even before the result of the 2018 elections were announced, it was a foregone conclusion. A person was installed through a conspiracy, he added.
Regarding the controversy in award of party tickets, Sanaullah said the candidates have been given tickets on merit. The leadership made utmost attempt to keep the party united, he maintained.
He said that he was involved in a frivolous case and told to keep quiet or he would face the consequences. He did not hold any press conference. He remained loyal to the party and the leadership despite undergoing hardships in jail, Sanaullah continued.
The former minister told the gathering that the only solution to the country's problems is the PML-N and urged them to vote for it on Feb 8 and contribute to the development of the motherland.
