(Dunya News) – Ubaid Shah and Mohammad Zeeshan displayed magic with ball as Pakistan on Saturday registered a compressive 181-run win over Afghanistan in their opening match of the ICC Under19 World Cup at Buffalo Park, East London.
Afghans were bundled out for 103 in 26.1 overs while chasing a target of 285 runs in the 50-over match. Nauman Shah remained top scorer from Afghanistan side with 26 runs.
Ubaid Shah claimed four-wicket haul while Muhammad Zeeshan took three wickets to put the opponent team in trouble.
Earlier, Pakistan opener Shazaib Khan smashed 106, helping his side to build a strong total of 284 runs. Saad Baig made 55 while Riazullah scored 46.
