Amazon launches generative AI tool to answer shoppers' questions

This feature makes the life of buyers easy with to-the point information.

(Web Desk) – Amazon is rolling out a new AI feature that will assist users in inquiring about particular products and their usage through reviews and the item's listing.

This functionality has the potential to spare shoppers from the hassle of navigating numerous review pages or going through an entire product listing to locate information about a specific product.

However, this feature is limited to providing information about products and their usages; it cannot answer irrelevant questions. Amazon plans to make this feature available in its mobile apps for iOS and Android very soon.

In recent months, Amazon has integrated various AI tools into its platform. In June of the previous year, the company began testing AI-generated summaries of product reviews.

It introduced AI features tailored for third-party sellers to assist in crafting listings and creating photos for advertisements. Amazon introduced "Q," an AI chatbot aimed at aiding companies in their daily tasks, and Bedrock, a generative AI service catering to Amazon Web Services customers.

Since the launch of OpenAI's AI chatbot ChatGPT in 2022, AI has revamped all sectors, making tasks more efficient. AI is the fastest-growing sector, expected to grow and reshape many job roles.
