RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Police on Tuesday arrested the PTI founder in the GHQ attack case.
An anti-terrorism court started hearing the cases linked with May 9 tragedy. Judge Malik Ijaz Asif conducted hearing of the case.
All the SHOs in 12 cases were present in the courtroom along with the relevant record. The PTI founder joined the hearing through video link from Adiala Jail. The R.A Bazaar police informed the court about arrest of the PTI founder in the case.
The R.A Bazaar police SHO sought physical remand of the PTI founder in the case. The court directed police to undertake investigation process in the jail.
It merits mention that a day earlier special court judge Abual Hasnaat had issued release order of the PTI founder in the cipher case.
It was said in the release order that the PTI founder, if not nominated in any other case, should be released on bail accepted by the Supreme Court. The former prime minister is on judicial remand in Adiala Jail in the Toshakhana and 190 million pound cases.

An anti-terrorism court had extented interim bail of the PTI chief’s sisters in the Jinnah House attack case. ATC judge Arshad Javed heard the case.
The court granted extension in interim bail until Feb 10 to Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s son Zain Qureshi.
