KOLKATA (Web Desk) – A three-wicket haul in Bangladesh match of the World Cup 2023 powered Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi to achieve a couple of milestones.
Besides becoming the fastest pacer to complete 100 ODI wickets, the bowler is leading the chart along with Australia’s Adam Zampa with most wickets in the tournament.

Both players have grabbed 16 wickets each in the mega cricket event, being played in India. Afridi dismissed key Bengali batters – Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mahmudullah Riyad – to achieve the feat.

During his nine-over spell in the match, Shaheen Afridi gave away only 23 runs with one maiden over.
Bangladesh have set a target of 205 runs for the Team Green in the match.
