(Web Desk) – Elon Musk has announced a slight change to creator monetisation on its social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The billionaire shared the development on its X handle, stating that any posts “that are corrected by Community Notes become ineligible for revenue share”.
He said the idea is to maximise the incentive for accuracy over sensationalism.

“Worth ‘noting’ that any attempts to weaponize @CommunityNotes to demonetize people will be immediately obvious, because all code and data is open source,” he added.
