LONDON (Haseeb Arslan) – The Pakistan High Commission in London will observe October 27 as black day to express solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to a statement released here, the high commission will organise a photo exhibition at 11:00 am vividly depicting the grave atrocities being committed by Indian occupation forces in IIOJK. The images to be put on display would serve as a stark reminder of the ongoing injustices to the Kashmiri people.
Following the exhibition, a seminar to be held at 11:30 am would shed light on the severe human rights violations endured by the Kashmiri people.
Distinguished speakers would address the audience, emphasising the need for international attention on the situation and the resolution of the dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
The events will witness participation from Britons, locals and Kashmiri people as well as representatives of human rights organisations and media.
“The observance of black day provides a platform for collective support and action for the people of IIOJK,” concluded the high commission in the statement.
