ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government on Monday approved increasing the prices of gas for the domestic, commercial and industrial consumers.
The approval was given by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) which was chaired by caretaker finance minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar.
The finance ministry sources said the new tariffs would be applicable from Nov 1, 2023.

Decision about importing one million metric tons of wheat was also made during the meeting, the sources said, adding that a technical supplementary grant of Rs48.4 million was also approved during the meeting.
