LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, one day after his return home, engaged in key meetings with party leaders on Tuesday.
According to details, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz held a significant meeting with Nawaz Sharif, addressing issues concerning the country's economic and political landscape as well as the party's Saturday power show at Minar-e-Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by the party's chief organiser Maryam Nawaz along with former finance minister Ishaq Dar and former law minister Azam Nazir Tarar.
Sources revealed that the meeting also delved into the status of Nawaz Sharif's legal cases and the court proceedings scheduled for October 24.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif emphasised that the PML-N had initiated the lawyers' movement and consistently upheld the rule of law.
He also noted that PML-N leaders Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz had encountered frivolous cases.
Nawaz Sharif expressed contentment with the PML-N's Minar-e-Pakistan rally and commended the newly unveiled party anthem.
