He said only the chairman would issue No Objection Certificate (NOC) to players
LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that following the ICC World Cup 2023 performance the significant and challenging decisions will be made.
Talking to a local news channel, the committee head mentioned that without performance, the central contract would not last for 3 years. He hoped that Pakistan team led by Babar Azam would perform well in India. We had not made any changes in the team after the Asia Cup performance as the skipper did not want any change.
He said full confidence had been given to Babar Azam and I accepted everything of the skipper ensuring him my sheer support.
Replying to a query, he said venue of the Pakistan Super League would be decided following the situation. He said players would be allowed for two leagues along with the PSL.
He said only the chairman would issue No Objection Certificate (NOC) to players.
The chief selector will be asked how the son of Inzamam-ul-Haq was made part of the squad for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy without performance.
