LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has wrote a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) over delay in issuance of visas to cricket fans and journalists for ODI World Cup 2023.
The PCB said Indian authorities were not receiving visa applications from Pakistani journalists, who intend to visit the neighbouring country for coverage, and fans, causing uncertainty among them as the mega cricket event draws closer.
It asked the international cricket body to take steps for speedy issuance of visas to fans and journalists as there are only five days left to start of the world cup.
The ODI cricket tournament is all set to begin on Oct 5 while Green Shirts will play their first game the next day.
