PMD predicts dry weather in parts of country during next 12 hours

Hot weather to persist in the southern parts as well

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather across the country during next twelve hours. The hot weather will persist in the southern parts as well.

However, rain-wind and thunderstorm (with hailstorm at isolated places) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Potohar region, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Snowfall over high mountains is also likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the period.

Temperature of major cities:

During the last 12 hours, Islamabad and Peshawar recorded twenty degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-four, Karachi twenty-seven and Quetta thirteen. Gilgit recorded fifteen, Muzafarabad sixteen and Murree fourteen degree centigrade.
