Jinnah House attack: Prosecution readies appeal against bail granted to Sanam Javed, others

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The prosecution has prepared an appeal against granting bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists including Sanam Javed who were arrested in connection with the Jinnah House attack case.
The appeal against these women will be filed after the approval of the prosecutor general.
The anti-terrorism court granted bail to Sanam Javed and others allegedly involved in the Jinnah House attack case. The ATC approved bail pleas of nine suspects in all.
ATC Judge Arshad Javed also disposed of bail petitions filed by 55 other suspects in the case. He granted post-arrest bail to Sanam Javed Khan, Rubina Jamil, Afshan Tariq, Ashma Shuja, Shah Bano, Syed Faisal Akhtar, Qasim, Ali Hassan and Hussain Qadri.
The judge had ordered all suspects to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each for the bail.
The suspects were arrested by police for their involvement in the attack on the Jinnah House on May 9. .
