PTI chairman's judicial remand in cipher case extended till Oct 10

Court also extends Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s judicial remand
ATTOCK (Dunya News) - The special court established under Official Secrets Act has extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and vice-chairman till October 10 in the cipher case.
The special court judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain conducted hearing of the cipher case against Tehreek-e-Insaf chief in Attock Jail.
Lawyers Barrister Salman Safdar and Umair Niazi were present on this occasion while the team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was also present in the hearing.
After hearing arguments of the parties, the judge of the special court extended the judicial remand of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf till October 10.
Meanwhile, the judicial remand of PTI’s Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has also been extended.
After the judicial remand of Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Shah Mahmood Qureshi was completed, he was presented to the court in the Cipher case. Judge Abul Hasnaat Zulqarnain conducted hearing of the case in camera.
PTI's lawyers, special prosecutors and FIA team appeared in the court. After hearing the arguments, the court extended the judicial remand of Qureshi till October 10. In the last hearing, the court had rejected the bail application of Qureshi.
