Toyota Pakistan shuts down production plant for two weeks

The Indus Motor Company faces hurdles in importing raw materials

KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Indus Motor Company Limited, the manufacturer of Toyota vehicles in the country, has temporarily shut down its production plant for two weeks.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company outlined the difficulties its vendors are facing in importing raw materials and clearing consignments.

Last month, the company experienced a brief shutdown of its production plant due to similar challenges with raw material imports.
