Says he was already ready to challenge convention
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Ali Khan Tareen – who is the son of Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party chairman Jahangir Khan Tareen – said his late uncle spent life on his own terms, describing him as a cool maverick.
In a tweet posting on the microblogging website Twitter, Ali said Alamgir Khan Tareen was a larger than life character who was always happy to challenge convention whether it was in life, in business or in cricket.

Alamgir, 63, had committed suicide under mysterious circumstances in the provincial capital on Thursday by shooting himself in the temple at his Gulberg apartment.
He was a known businessman who owned PSL's Multan Sultans and was also its managing director. His family said Alamgir was unmarried and scheduled to tie the knot in December.
Police found him dead with a pistol and a suicide note he left in which he mentioned the ‘endless list of illnesses’ he was suffering from as prime reason for suicide.
