LAHORE (Web Desk) - A Belgian TikToker named David Baerten took an unconventional approach to teach his family a valuable lesson and determine who truly cared for him.
Baerten and his wife, along with their children, devised a prank to assess the level of concern exhibited by their loved ones for the 45-year-old.
To initiate the ruse, one of Baerten's children penned a fabricated tribute on social media, lamenting the loss of their father and expressing profound grief. The emotional post read, "Rest in peace, Daddy. I will forever hold you in my thoughts. Life seems incredibly unjust. Why did it have to be you? You were on the verge of becoming a grandfather, with an entire lifetime ahead of you. I love you dearly, and your memory will forever be cherished."
In response, Baerten's family arranged a funeral service near Liege over the weekend, which drew a sizable gathering of mourners dressed in sombre attire, as captured in a video featuring several parked cars.
Expecting to commence the mournful ceremony, attendees were instead met with the arrival of a helicopter, from which Baerten emerged accompanied by his camera crew. The sight left the assembled crowd astounded and deeply moved.
