MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Speculations about a sequel to the 2008 film Ghajini have been making rounds on social media, with reports claiming that actor Aamir Khan and producer Allu Arvind had a meeting to discuss ideas for the project.
This came after Aamir announced a break from his career following the failure of his last film, Laal Singh Chaddha. However, Allu Arvind has since released a statement denying the rumours.
"There is no sequel of Ghajini, there never was, and there never will be," said Allu, clearing the air on the matter.
Ghajini, which was a remake of a South Indian film of the same name, was a blockbuster hit at the box office, setting new records that remained unbeatable for a long time. It also starred Asin in the leading role.
Despite being on a break, Aamir Khan has been receiving offers for film roles, including a vital role in Prashanth Neel's upcoming film alongside Jr NTR.
