Indian Idol show host Mani Mathur calls the show 'fake'

There have been 13 seasons of Indian Idol and many personalities have called the show fake.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Indian actress and host Mani Mathur hosted the show at the launch of Indian Idol and then abruptly quit the show after the sixth season.
Recently, she spoke about the show in a podcast and called Indian Idol 'fake’ saying “there is nothing real in the show. One day our producer came to me and said Dharmendra and Hema Malini are coming, we have to do some 'movement' to which I said this happens suddenly but he said we have to do a little [stunt] at this.”
She said once I was told that a candidate would be surprised to see his relative but that candidate already knew the relative was there, so I decided to leave the show.
Mani Mathur further said I had a lot of affection for every person in the show and used to invite the people participating in the show to my house but when it was revealed to me that the show was not real, I left it.
It should be noted that there have been 13 seasons of Indian Idol and many personalities have called the show fake.
