Kay Kay Menon, Ranvir Shorey to star in Indian adaptation of 'Sherlock Holmes'

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - BBC Studios appears to be heavily invested in the adaptation of their successful shows in India, with nearly half a dozen already in the works. According to a report in Times of India, the latest adaptation greenlit by the company is the famous Sherlock Holmes.
The report states that Kay Kay Menon will play the iconic detective while Ranvir Shorey will portray Dr John Watson. Srijit Mukherji, known for his directorial work on Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga and Shabaash Mithu, will direct the show. The production will begin in April in Kolkata and will be contextualized in an Indian setting.
