LONDON (Web Desk) - A woman was shocked this year as on more than one occasion a friend had been around and had brought food, only to package it up at the end of the night and take it back home.
The woman went onto say that she considers it a gift or a contribution when she takes round food to somebody else s house so was surprised to notice it being done to her on more than one occasion.
In the post, the woman, who remained anonymous, explained: "We ve hosted some friends and family gatherings over Christmas.
"On a couple of occasions guests kindly offered to bring food (home baked cake, biscuits etc)."
She went onto explain her shock at the end of the night when she found the guests taking back the food they had brought round.
"I was a bit shocked when, on leaving, they packaged up leftovers (of their contribution) and took it home (uninvited).
"When I take food / drink to a party I consider it a gift / contribution and would dream of reclaiming it at the end of the evening." In response, many have shown support for the author of the post and said that they have seen this happen and find it surprising.
One person wrote: "I think it’s rude but see it happen all the time."
