Lahore Customs seizes smuggled goods worth Rs75mn
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Customs Anti-smuggling Unit on Tuesday seized items worth Rs 75 million during an operation at Thokar Niaz Baig in Lahore.
The smuggled items, which were being carried in a 10-wheeler trailer, included a heavy bike, tyres, cloth and ‘indian gutka’. The customs officials were forced to open fire at some smugglers who offered bit resistance. The suspects managed to escape.
