New Zealand hold first training session in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The New Zealand cricket team landed in Karachi on Thursday and held their first training session at the National Bank Cricket Arena on Friday.

Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) official Twitter account posted pictures of the players in which they can be seen doing batting, bowling and fielding practice. Kiwi captain Tim Southee and rest of the team are preparing for the first Test match against Pakistan which is scheduled to start from Dec 26.

The second Test will be staged at the Multan Cricket Stadium from Jan 3 to 7.

The Black Caps will play three ODIs from January 10 to 14 in Karachi after the conclusion of the Test series.
