Another increase in naan, roti prices on the cards

At present roti is being sold at Rs14 and nan at Rs22.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Nanbai Association of Lahore has indicated up to Rs3 increase in the prices of naan and roti.
Aftab Gul, president of the association, said the price of wheat in the market was increasing day by day. The price of 15kg wheat bag had been increased to Rs1,775 from Rs1,400, he said. Similarly, he said, a fine flour bag rate had gone up to Rs9,500 from Rs8,500.
Mr Gul said gas was also not available and the wood and LPG were expensive. The association, he said, had called a meeting on Dec 15 to announce increase in the prices of both commodities. He said the present price of roti is Rs14 and naan Rs22.
