PTI leaders booked for protests against Imran Khan attack.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Cases have been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in Islamabad for protesting against the attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Two separate cases have been registered against PTI leaders in Islamabad following a protest at Faizabad over the firing on a container and targeting of Imran Khan in the Long March.
A total of 24 suspects, including PTI leaders Ali Ahmed Awan, Amir Mehmood Kiyani, Wasif Qayyum and Chaudhry Shoaib, have been named in the case lodged at I-9 police station. The case alleges that the accused resisted with the police and damaged public property.
It has been registered in the case that the accused attacked the police and FC personnel with sticks and stones and nine FC, five police personnel were injured due to stone pelting by the accused, the protesters burnt motorcycles and also damaged property.
