PM, CM Punjab exempted from personal appearance in money laundering case

PM Shehbaz and CM Hamza's lawyer made sure that the trial will not be affected due to their absence.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Accountability Court on Tuesday granted exemption from appearance to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz in money laundering cases through Ramzan Sugar Mills and Ashayana Housing Scheme.
According to details, PM Shehbaz and CM Hamza’s lawyer Amjad Pervaiz submitted the plea in which it was requested to grant them exemption from attending the hearing.
In the petition, it was briefed that CM Hamza and PM Shehbaz will not be able to attend the hearing due to their busy schedules at work while he made sure that the trial will not be affected due to their absence.
Shehbaz Sharif is granted exemption from personal attendance in Ashyana Housing Reference while Hamza in Ramzan Sugar Mills case and Ashyana Housing Reference.
