Pakistan out of bankruptcy risk: PM Shehbaz
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that the risk of bankruptcy has been averted and the government’s foremost priority is to pull the country out of the economic crisis. PM Shehbaz visited the residence of senior Dunya News analyst Salman Ghani and he extended his condolences to Salman Ghani on his brother’s demise.
On the occasion, senior journalists Sajjad Mir, Mujibur Rahman Shami and others were also present. Speaking to Dunya News, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he would work day and night to make the country as per the Quaid’s vision.
While talking about the recent $2.3 billion deposit by China, the PM expressed gratefulness to the neighbouring country. Pakistan has moved out of the difficult time, he said.
He further said that the previous government had ruined the country’s economy and violated the IMF agreement. The PM also ensured people that he is currently monitoring the load shedding himself. Load shedding is taking place due to the PTI government’s untimely deals, he added.
Shehbaz said that “When gas was cheap to up $3, the PTI government acted with severe negligence. Delays in projects have harmed the country s agriculture, industry and exports.”
The PM also expressed grief over the Quetta bus incident, in which 19 people were killed and also prayed for the deceased and also conveyed his sympathies to the mourners.
“Instructions have been issued to provide the best and quickest medical care to the injured,” added the PM.
