Economic future bleak under the rule of 'professional thieves': Imran Khan

Imran said transparent elections are the need of the hour to protect Pakistan from further harm.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that the economic future of Pakistan is bleak under the rule of the current government.
While talking in a party meeting, former prime minister said that the these group of thieves have come unprepared and tried to cover up their wrongdoings.
He said when PTI came into power, the country was on verge of bankruptcy. While he added that despite the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) pressure and affects of COVID-19, PTI did not let the inflation affect common people.
Attacking the current government, he said that after 9 weeks the "imported puppets" have taken revenge from people in form of inflation.
Imran said that he had warned that the PTI government strenghtened the economy after hard work and political crisis could have damaged it. He said that transparent elections are the need of the hour to protect Pakistan from further harm.
