JUI Sherani group announces alliance with PTI
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sherani group (JUI) on Monday announced political and religious alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to sources, Head of JUI Sherani Group Maulana Khan Sherani along with a 25-member delegation met PTI Chairman Imran Khan in which alliance and partnership was formally announced.
Former NA deputy speaker Qasim Suri, former FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Senator Ijaz Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
Maulana Sherani said that the struggle against Islamophobia is one of the commonalities.
Imran Khan welcomed the Head of JUI Sherani Group Maulana Khan Sherani along with a 25-member and said that PTI strives to achieve higher political and social goals beyond traditional politics.
