Govt will not last long after recent budget, claims Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that despite the IMF’s pressure his government had given relief to the masses ,from the recent budget it seems that the government will not last long.
In an interview to a private TV channel, Imran Khan while rebuking the current government said these people did not come to reduce inflation and fix the economy because they have no plan, adding that the purpose of these rulers coming into government was only to eliminate corruption cases. “Shaukat Tareen and I had told the ‘neutrals’ that if the conspiracy was successful then the economy would be destabilized”, Imran Khan said. Imran Khan said that industry and agriculture were moving forward, tax collection was also on record while the remittances were also on record, at that time the government was destabilized. The former PM added that the official report on the PTI’s long march was brought by those who committed atrocities , adding that if the courts do not defend the basic rights of the people, they will lose their dignity, the courts would establish their dignity through their decisions. “We will do the next power show with full planning after getting permission for peaceful protest from the Supreme Court of Pakistan,” PTI chairman said.
