Person who challenged 'superpower' now hiding due to fear of arrest: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Monday while lashing out at PTI chairman Imran Khan said that a person who was challenging superpower and left home to bring revolution now seeking bails and hiding due to fear of arrest. Addressing the PMLN social media team, Maryam congratulated the social media team and said we have been listening for 75 years that the country is going through a critical period while the parties with public mandate are not allowed to run the country. “It was a challenge to accept the government when country was suffering from political and economic crisis,” She said. Taking a dig at former government, Maryam said Pakistan is in a bad situation in every field due to the incompetence of PTI government but a hardworking person like Shehbaz Sharif has come to power and he should be given a chance. Due to Imran Khan’s agreement with IMF, the incumbent government had to increase the petroleum prices but government relief package would overcome the consequences of prices hikes, Maryam said. While commenting on current wave of load-shedding, Maryam Nawaz said that PML-N government had crushed the prolonged load-shedding but due to PTI’s delay in taking decisions regarding LNG and other power agreements put country back on path of darkness while Hydro-powered plants were also shut down, adding that Khurram Dastagir is working day and night to fix PTI’s government blunders.
