Google commemorates Gama Pehalwan with a Doodle on his birth anniversary

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Google is commemorating Gama Pehalwan with a Doodle on his 144th birthday.
Gama Pehalwan, one of subcontinent’s great wrestlers commonly known as Rustam-e-Hind.
He was born on this day in Amritsar in 1878. His ring name was "The Great Gama" and he was an undefeated wrestling champion of the world in the early 20th century.
In the aftermath of partition of united India in 1947, he migrated to Pakistan. He died in Lahore, Pakistan on 23 May 1960 after a period of illness.
