Bushra Rehman passes away in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former parliamentarian, columnist and novelist Bushra Rehman on Monday has passed away in Lahore.
According to details, the novelist was ill and suffering from coronavirus. Her funeral prayers will be offered today at 04:00pm in Lahore’s Garden Town. Born on August 29, 1944, Bushra Rehman served as member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2013.
She was a writer by profession and recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz for her achievements in the literature field. Her prominent novels included Lagan, Bahisht, Khubsurat, Sharmeely, Tere Sung Dar Ki Talaash Thi and others.
