Seven security personnel martyred, 13 terrorists killed in Panjgur and Naushki: ISPR

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday has said that seven security personnel have embraced martyrdom while 13 terrorists killed during operations in Naushki and Panjgur.

According to military media wing, security forces carried out clearance operations on Wednesday night to hunt down terrorists hiding in these areas and successfully repulsed the attacks.

Six soldiers and one officer embraced martyrdom, ISPR told.

The statement further stated that in Naushki, security forces encountered and killed nine terrorists while in Panjgur, four terrorists have so far been killed.

Earlier today, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had saluted the brave security forces who repulsed terrorist attacks against security forces  camps in Panjgur and Naushki in Balochistan.

In a post on social-networking website Twitter, the premier said that the nation stands united behind our security forces who continue to give great sacrifices to protect us.

On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid told that nine terrorists in Naushki whereas six terrorists were killed in Panjgur.

In a statement, the minister deplored the terrorist attacks on the camp of security forces in Naushki and Panjgur and said that four security personnel also embraced martyrdom in retaliation. We salute the brave officers over repulsing the attacks, he expressed.

Sheikh Rashid said that our security forces are well trained to foil any kind of terrorist attack.
