PM directs to complete process of legislation for Local Body Elections in Punjab
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Pakistan Imran Khan on Friday directed the Punjab Assembly to complete the legislative process for Local Body Elections in Punjab.
Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Law Minister gave a briefing on legislation in Punjab. Chief Minister (CM) Usman Bazdar also attended the meeting.
Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded the performance of Law Minister Raja Basharat on legislative issues.
Imran Khan also directed for necessary legislation to provide justice to the people and end the delay in speedy decision of cases. The Prime Minister said that the efforts made by the department in cooperatives for relinquishing land from illegal occupants and for ideal recovery were commendable.
Kech attack: PM expresses commitment to end terrorism
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of ten soldiers of Pakistan Army in Kech district of Balochistan. In a message of condolence, the premier extended sympathy with the heirs of the martyrs.
The PM said each drop of blood of the soldiers is the guarantor of security of the country, adding that the coward enemy is facing a strong nation which earlier also defeated terrorism. The reaction came after ten Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack on a security forces check post in Balochistan’s Kech district According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists attacked security forces’ checkpost in Kech.
