NAB court accepted the pre-arrest bail of Asif Ali Zerdari

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Tuesday has accepted the pre-arrest bail of Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari in New York property case. While announcing the reserved verdict, the court has rejected the appeal of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and remarked that the anti-graft watchdog won’t be able to arrest the former president. Earlier in the day, Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naek had appealed the court to approve permanent bail of his client. Responding to the counsel, NAB prosecutor told that they had not issued arrest warrant of the former president yet, therefore, the petition should be turned down. Talking to media after the court appearance, Asif Ali Zardari said he is hopeful for in-house change, adding that he had told from day one about this government s inability to handle national affairs. Time has proven my stance that the elected people of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are all ineligible, he added. The former president further said that the people are suffering from different issues and the government is incapable of doing anything.
