Amir Liaquat breaks silence on Murree tragedy
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Amir Liaquat broke silence on Murree tragedy.
Taking to Twitter, Amir Liaquat said that if CM Buzdar could have changed the name of Murree than giving it the status of a separate district so the people who died in Murree would not have been associated with the city.
He added that what is wrong in admitting one s mistakes? All politicians whether Buzdar or Shehbaz are same. Shehbaz Sharif should not forget about the Model Town.
Meanwhile, referring to Shahrukh Jatoi, Amir Liaquat slammed Sindh government. While taking it to Twitter, the PTI MNA stated that the administration is similar to the leader. The famous murderer was given protection in Qamarul Islam Hospital for 8 months and no one spoke against it.
He added that the new face of Karachi Murtaza Wahab must follow the footsteps of his mother.
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) representative Amir Liaquat had begged Prime Minsiter (PM) Imran Khan’s pardon once again.
According to details, Amir had criticized PM Imran Khan led government on allowing the demolition of a mosque in Karachi which was constructed on the place of park. He had mentioned that the one’s who demolish mosques, he could not be the part of such governments.
On the other hand, Amir taking it to Twitter mentioned that he and PM Imran Khan share a special bond of relation with each other. He further mentioned that he is guilty of his reaction. He stated that he admire PM Khan from his heart.
In October 2021, Amir had tendered resignation as member of National Assembly (MNA).
The PTI leader made the announcement in a post on social-networking website Twitter.
"Have sent my resignation from the National Assembly. May Allah Almighty support Imran Khan and PTI. Allah Hafiz," he stated.
In July 2020, Aamir Liaquat had stated, “I am a helpless MNA of Karachi, unable to provide electricity to the people of my city. I cannot bear to witness the suffering and agony of Karachi’s people, as well as the lies of [K-Electric CEO] Moonis Alvi.”
He said he had asked Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to meet him so that he could present his resignation to him in person. However, the premier had rejected Aamir’s resignation.
