SBP ensure to give awareness on easy mobile account scheme: Raza Baqir
ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Raza Baqir on Monday said that the SBP will ensure to give awareness on easy mobile account scheme. According to details, the soft launch ceremony of easy mobile account scheme was held in State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
According to this facility, the customers will be able to open bank account without paying visit to bank.
In the scheme, PTA, State Bank, NADRA, 13 banks and cell phone companies are involved.
While addressing the ceremony, Governor SBP said that now the opening of bank accounts in Pakistan has become very easy.
On the occasion, Chairman NADRA ensured to offer full coordination in order to make the scheme successful. He added that even before the launching ceremony, a transaction of 10 billion has been made for the branch lease banking.
