Key steps taken for development of poverty-stricken people: Farrukh

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Thursday told that important steps have been taken for the development of people belonging to lower and middle class. Earlier, the minister said that government’s Tree Plantation Scheme has been acknowledged at global level, as the WWF has hailed the green policy of Pakistan. He said United Nations had issued red alert regarding environmental pollution, hence it was need of the hour to address the problem of pollution. Farrukh Habib said Pakistan Media Development Authority will facilitate journalists and media organizations and suggestions are being sought to remove the reservations of all stakeholders in that regard.
