No forgiveness for women harasser, molester: Usman Bazdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Assuring every possible step to protect women, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Bazdar has vowed that there is no forgiveness for those who harass and molest women.
In a special talk with Dunya News, CM Buzdar said that he has sought a report on harassment cases with women in Punjab. “The people involved in such heinous crimes are a menace of society and such people will be severely punished as per law. The police have also been tasked to strictly enforce the laws,” he mentioned.
He also said that the performance of all the officers in Punjab was evaluated and the officers who did not perform well were also removed. “We have no care about criticism just for the sake of criticize. If we had responded to the criticism, they would not have made progress. We just worked and our public services responded to the opposition s criticism.”
Usman Bazdar said that he would not take action on the base of revenge against anyone in Punjab. “Not even a single corruption scandal has surfaced in Punjab. For the first time, million acres of land had been retrieved from the land mafias,” he mentioned.
Earlier todya, CM Usman Buzdar says welfare of people is top priority of PTI government and negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
He was talking to a delegation of Special Monitoring Unit, headed by Fazeel Asif, which presented him the third-year performance report of provincial government in Lahore today (Saturday).
The report contains detailed performance of provincial departments and institutions. The Chief Minister said performance of the provincial departments will be evaluated on a regular basis.
