Dr Firdous resigns as Special Assistant to Chief Minister

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has resigned from her post and is likely to be given new responsibilities in the federation.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has accepted her resignation as special assistant on information and broadcasting.
According to sources, it has been decided to appoint Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan as Special Assistant on Population Welfare in the Federation. She will perform her duties as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM).
Sources further said that Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan will once replace Dr Awan as Minister for Information and Broadcasting in Punjab. He has already served as the ministry of information.
Earlier, Dr Firdous held an important meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar who appreciated her services.
